(1) Used as a base fertilizer.
After ammonium chloride is used as a base fertilizer, it is best to water it in time so that the chloride ions in the fertilizer can be leached to the lower layer of the soil and the adverse effects on crops can be reduced. Use a small amount as a base fertilizer in subtropical rainy areas without watering.
(2) Used as top dressing.
Ammonium chloride is most suitable as a top dressing fertilizer for rice. It is more effective than ammonium sulfate with the same amount of nitrogen. But when ammonium chloride is used as top dressing, the principle of small amount and multiple times should be mastered.
(3) Not suitable for use as seed fertilizer and seedling fertilizer.
Because ammonium chloride generates water-soluble chloride in the soil, it affects the germination of seeds and the growth of seedlings.
